Overview

Algérie Sports is a news website covering Algerian sport: national team, Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and other sports. All editorial content (articles, categories, tags, news briefs) is entered in French and Arabic, and the public site switches to right-to-left (RTL) layout in Arabic. The editorial team manages articles, journalists, clubs, ad slots and social links from a Filament back office available at /espace-redaction. The admin dashboard shows 12 widgets: statistics, publishing charts and rankings of the most-read articles. The site includes full SEO: Open Graph and Twitter Card tags, JSON-LD NewsArticle structured data, a dynamic sitemap.xml and robots.txt.

From challenge to results

Challenge
The newsroom wanted to reach both French- and Arabic-speaking readers without running two websites. Publishing an article took too many technical steps, and articles had little visibility on Google.

Solution
A single bilingual site, with a FR/AR switch and right-to-left layout in Arabic. Journalists publish on their own from a Filament back office, from draft to live, with both languages side by side. Every article ships with full SEO: Open Graph, NewsArticle structured data and a dynamic sitemap.

Online since January 2026, the site has already published 30 articles.
